How much does shipping cost?

For shipments within the UK we offer Royal Mail at a standard charge of £2.95 for small items and just £4.95 for everything else.

Do you ship outside the UK?

For shipping outside the UK, items are sent Royal Mail Airmail Internationally Signed for. The International shipping charges start from, Europe £14.95 (Zone prices vary) and USA including Canada £19.95. International items will need to be signed for on delivery. If you require shipping of furniture overseas please contact us via email to discuss delivery options.

How long before I receive my order?

Item(s) can take 5-7 business days for delivery in the UK.  For International orders please allow 7-14 days for delivery. Please note that items dispatched internationally can sometimes be delayed at customs, and you will be responsible for any duty to be paid on the package. Once items have been despatched we will advise you by email.

What is your returns policy?

Here at Ooberbaby we offer 100% satisfaction guarantee on all items and products sold.  If you are not entirely satisfied with the goods that you have purchased then please follow our returns procedure:

  • First email us via our Contact Us page, you must tell us that you will be returning the item and the reason for return, please include your order number and detail of the item(s) you are returning. 
  • Item must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt. 
  • Items must be returned in original packaging materials and returned to us in an unworn/unused condition.  All returns must be securely packaged.  You are responsible for ensuring the items safe return to Oober Baby, we suggest that items are sent back to us appropriate Recorded Delivery, you are then insured should the items go missing.
  • If the item(s) is lost or stolen then you are responsible for claiming compensation from Royal Mail.
  • Items returned to us that arrive damaged or lost will not be credited.  Items returned to us in an unsaleable/worn condition will not be refunded.
  • Items received within the 14 days will be given a full refund.  Items returned to us after the 14 days will be given an exchange.
  • If you are returning clothing items because that item does not fit, an exchange will be given.  In the event the item(s) becomes out of stock then we will email you to let you know our expected delivery date.  you then have the choice to be sent the item as soon as it becomes available or to be refunded.  Please note we do not offer exchange or refund on swimwear or underwear garments. 
  • If a wrong item is sent or an item is faulty, an exchange will be given.  In the event the item(s) becomes out of stock then we will email you to let you know our expected delivery date.  you then have the choice to be sent the item as soon as it becomes available or to be refunded.
  • Refunds will be credited within 14 days of you returning your item.  We will always advise you by email once we have refunded you.

What if my furniture does not fit?  
When ordering furniture it is important to check that it will fit into your house and your room. Please check all doors, stairways and the space it has to go into carefully.

Please note we cannot accept the return of the following items:
i. Mattresses and beds, or bedding unless un-opened and in their original packaging.
ii. Any partially assembled flat pack furniture, unless the item is found to be faulty.

Please note that a nominal fee of £25 will be charged for items being collected by our courier.

Is it safe for me to shop online with my credit card?

In this day and age where credit card fraud and identity theft is mentioned weekly in the news, some customers may still be wary about making credit card transactions online.  We would like to assure all our customers that ordering with Ooberbaby is secure.  All Credit Card transactions are protected via the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, the standard secure process for credit card transactions over the net.  Data is encrypted so that it can not be read whilst in transit between the browser and server. When shopping on the Internet always look for either a solid gold key (Netscape browsers) or a locked lock (Microsoft browsers) at the bottow of your window.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal and all types of Credit Card, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Solo, American Express etc all payments are processed via Paypal - you do not need to have an exsisting Paypal account to make payments via Credit Card.  We are now accepting Google Checkout as well to give you greater choice on payment options.

What is your Privacy Policy?

Ooberbaby respects the privacy of its customers and guarantees your personal information is safe with us.  We will not share your details with any third parties whatsoever unless to directed to do so by law.  As required by the UK Data Protection Act of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security/measures in the storage and disclosure of personal information to prevent unauthorised access.  Any credit/debit card information you send to us is encrypted by using a secure socket layer (SSL) server.  This ensures that your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else on the internet.

What is inside a Bean2Bed™?

Unlike traditional beanbags, we don’t use Styrofoam/polystyrene balls which are noisy, uncomfortable and get crushed with use. Instead our products contain a revolutionary CMHR™ foam filling which allows for greater support and more even weight distribution. So no more beans, no more refills… just comfort beyond compare!

Where are your products made?

All our products are proudly manufactured right here in the UK. This allows us to have one of the best lead times in the industry even though we make everything to order. It also ensures that the products you receive are of the highest quality and workmanship, and are dispatched to you on time, every time.

How quickly can you deliver?

We make all our products to order, starting on Mondays and dispatching on Thursdays. Any orders that come in before 10am on Mondays can be made up and dispatched that Thursday, for UK Mainland Delivery on the Friday. Anything after 10am on Monday will be made up in the next cycle and dispatched on Thursday of the following week.

What is the Bean2Beds Returns Policy?

There are three things in life that simply don't exist; A unicorn, A pixie, and an unhappy Bean2Bed™ Customer. We would not want you to keep anything that you're not 100% delighted with, so if your item is faulty then we'll happily arrange for the collection of your items - at no cost to you - and refund you in full. We are a people business and treat our customers how we'd like to be treated ourselves.

If you are wishing to return a non-faulty item then all return costs will be charged to the customer.

Which Courier company does Bean2Bed use for deliveries?

We use TNT for UK Mainland deliveries, and DPD for International orders. With both of these companies you will be able to Track your item in transit via their respective websites.

Do your products meet UK Fire Safety Regulations?

Absolutely - we would not be in business if they didn’t. All Bean2Beds™ adhere to the Department of Trade and Industry’s Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. All our products are made using fire retardant materials which have been rigorously tested by independent experts.

Are the products Guaranteed?

Yes. All Bean2Bed™ products are made with the highest quality materials, design and workmanship. Each one is individually checked and inspected before dispatch, but in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect occurring within 12 months of your delivery, we will happily repair or replace your product at no cost to you.

Are the outer covers machine washable?

All our Cord and Denim covers are machine washable. We recommend wipe/spot cleaning with a damp cloth for our Faux Suede, but in the case of a major spillage you could get away with washing them at a low temperature once or twice in their lifetime. None of our products should be dry cleaned.
